With the update of Facebook we have the power to choose our top story. Yes that's true. The new version of Facebook has undergone many changes probably to compete with Google + and now it has granted us the power to choose our top story our-self.
Unlike older times in which the post with high comment or no. of likes become top story, now we can choose what is a top story for us and it's as simple as 1,2,3 !

For example:
If you want to get updates of "Skype" as soon as you open Facebook, find its post either on your wall or by visiting the page.
Then click on blue ribbon on top left corner of post.
After it, you'll be shown a message saying "This is now a top story."
Understand that you're done. Really simple.
But if you again click on same ribbon, it will no longer remain a top story and you'll get a message saying "This is no longer a Top story."
But if you wanted it to be a top story and you clicked on it mistakenly then don't worry and again click on the ribbon. it'll become a top story!
You can do similar action by clicking on drop-down button at top right corner of the post
